June 24th, 2009My first fever
May 14th, 2009I woke up around 3:45am this morning not feeling well. I woke up Daddy and he took my temperature. It was 102ºF. Daddy woke up Mommy and they took turns padding me down with a cold, wet towel to lower my temperature. It was very cold but it helped. It was a weird feeling this fever since I never had one before.
Morning came and Daddy took my temperature again before he left for work. It was 96.7ºF. Looks like I’m feeling better. I guess this was due to my second set of vaccination I got yesterday.
It’s Mommy’s birthday and I turned 4 months today
May 12th, 2009Mommy, Daddy, and Lolo went to Las Vegas for a couple of days and came back today. Today is Mommy’s birthday and I turned 4 months today too. We went to eat at a buffet for dinner. It was okay, I just had my milk. I’m not old enough to eat regular food yet. I am more vocal now, I can’t say words but I make a lot of sounds. Mommy is still trying to teach me to have my hands touch each other. I still can’t quite get it. I will soon though, I hope. Daddy is trying to teach me to clap with my hands and feet. That one is hard as well. I just watch them as they help me do it. Here are some pics on my 4th month.
Tomorrow I get my booster shots. I hope it won’t hurt as much as it did the first time.
3 month check up
April 13th, 2009I went and saw my doctor this morning for a check after I was admitted a couple of weeks ago. They took my weight and height. I’m now 11.4 lbs and 23 inches tall. I’m really catching up with my peers. My doctor is impressed with my progress considering I’m a “premie”. He is so nice to us, he even gave me a couple of free milk. Thanks doc, you’re the best!
My first Easter 2009
April 12th, 2009Not only is it my first Easter, but I also turned 3 months old today. Grandma bought me a nice outfit too. It’s blue and white, it has a tie and a blazer. I’m looking very sharp for the Easter bunny. We also went to church this morning. I met a lot of people. Everyone commented about how much hair I have. Looks like I won’t have the “Gatchalian” baldness look 
We’re planning to go to Sears and take some pics at their studio later.

My first roll over
April 11th, 2009I finally did my first roll over. Daddy put me on my stomach and they both watched as I kept trying to roll over on my back. It was very hard. At first I was doing fine then I started to cry, but I didn’t give up. After close to 10 minutes I finally did it – all on my own. My parents are so proud of me. Daddy called Grandma right away and told her what I’ve done.
Back home from the hospital
March 27th, 2009I spent the last 2 days at the hospital. For the past week or so I have been crying my butt off and Mommy and Daddy can’t find out why. So they took me to the doctor’s office. Unfortunately, my current pediatrician is on vacation so I saw someone else. He suggested that I should be admitted for observation.
They poked me again for an IV and gave me antibiotics. I don’t like it because it gives me diarrhea. So my diagnosis was colic which is caused by the caffeine I am taking for my apnea. The doctor ordered to stop the caffeine doses and so far I feel better. I haven’t had any apnea episodes and I haven’t cried as much as I did before.
Mommy is also trying to breast feed again. Daddy thinks this will help lessen any future and current problems.
I’m 2 months old
March 12th, 2009Today I turned 2 months old. This morning I saw my doctor and I got my first shots. They hurt at first but after a few minutes, it I felt a little better. Here are some pics that Daddy took today.
Daddy also bought me some New Balance 574 Elmo.
He was pretty bummed when he found out they didn’t have a pair his size.
Baptism Day
February 28th, 2009Well today I had my Baptism. A lot of people showed up. The water was cold and I got surprised when they poured it on my head. I cried but it was over rather quickly.
We then went and had the reception at a Chinese buffet. I’m not sure if the food was good but I noticed Daddy and his friends kept going back and getting more. More visitors arrived to eat with us. And I got lots of gifts. I had a good time and now I’m even richer with my new Ninongs and Ninangs.

8 pounder
February 20th, 2009Lola weighed me today and now I’m up to 8 pounds. I’ve outgrown my premature clothes and have started using my newborn clothes. I’m growing so fast. I’m drinking more milk now too and my cries are much louder now. I think Mommy and Daddy are noticing.
